As a vacation rental management company you want to ensure your marketing budget is allocated to produce the most return possible, which means gaining more guests and new owners to your program. You are inundated with sales pitches and options from various companies that make promises about ROI and gaining more revenue if you purchase “xyz” product.
While we’re not negating the need for various products within the industry to keep operations running smoothly and increasing revenue, there is a need to go “back to the basics” and make sure you are ahead of the trends with your property listings to stand out from the crowd and increase rental revenue. This means: photography, descriptions and guest communication.
Our goal for this project was to create images to showcase a beautiful vacation rental home located in the Vanderhorst Plantation on Kiawah Island on Glen Abbey Road.
We wanted to know how just changing images would perform compared to the older images the vacation rental company had been using. This is what we found:
We conducted an analysis with a year over year comparison to see the differences after the new images from our company were uploaded.
The total revenue increased 57.1% for this home and the vacation rental management company had a 220% increase in bookings.
Their website also had increases on the property listing page. Unique page views were up 62.12% and the average time increased by 28.8% according to their analytics report.
